Mechanical Engineer - Static Role

Purpose and objectives of the role
To provide support to the premium homes team to undertaking service and maintenance of primary mechanical plant in multi dwelling units. Work will be split between plant rooms and common part areas.

Main duties and responsibilities
Attend Prime and Super Prime residential premises to:

• Conducting maintenance, installations, repairs, and testing of commercial and domestic mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing effective solutions.
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken and materials used
• Provide on-call support as required.
• Provide excellent customer service

Special requirements

• G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification is essential.
• F-Gas qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, including chillers, boilers, water tanks, and booster sets, and their associated pipework.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
